born in munich in 1995, he graduated in interior architecture from th rosenheim in 2018, where he had also tutored a course on digital fabrication with professor kilian stauss in 2017. internships followed in milan with denis santachiara and in munich at the architecture office bottizanafredi. over the next two years he worked freelance — for aevum design, occhio and dauphin, among others — and founded the design studio mela.space.

julian marino botti
julian botti is a designer working across architecture, interiors and industrial design. in 2020 he founded spazio; since 2018 he has been developing a modular lighting system that reached retail in late 2022 as luce by giubotti, together with luis unützer and carolina hering (giubotti.com).
