he has taught furniture design and design creativity at leading israeli and european design schools since 1993. in 2004 he developed the concept of open design: product designs that can be downloaded, copied, modified and produced, much like open-source software. on this basis he founded open design, a design and production company for furniture, lighting and accessories, made in berlin and sold in europe and the us, regularly shown in solo and group exhibitions worldwide.
