studiolehn was founded in 2024 by juro lehmann in berlin and works at the intersection of furniture design, interior architecture and spatial planning. lehmann practised cabinet and furniture making from 2010 to 2020 and studied interior architecture at burg giebichenstein university of art and design, graduating in 2024.
his approach is rooted in material and craft. early years in his grandfather's workshop and the renovation of a four-sided farmhouse with his father shaped it, and many designs still begin physically in the workshop before they are developed digitally. the studio calls it minimally invasive design: doing less, but with greater precision. it works in oak, ash, ebonised oak, stainless steel and linoleum, alongside interiors for residential and commercial clients in berlin.
forma apta is a modular shelving system reduced to two precisely folded sheet-metal components in 2 mm stainless steel. it goes together without tools, screws or connectors. rond, a side table and wall shelf, takes its circular geometry from folded sheet metal, in stainless steel and brass.
both are designed in berlin, made locally, and produced in editions of ten.
in 2025 the studio showed at stockholm furniture fair (greenhouse), at factory pdw25 with galerie joseph in paris and at editnapoli 25, and was shortlisted for buildner's the architects chair no.4.
