fum is romanian for smoke: a ceramic candle holder in the shape of smoke rising and drifting. it holds a single taper candle and stands as an object in its own right without one.

made by hand in catalin filip's studio in st leonards-on-sea, england. in terracotta clay; raw textured finish outside, cream speckled glaze inside.

made to order: the studio makes each piece after the order, within 4–5 weeks. every piece is formed by hand, so shape and surface vary slightly from piece to piece.
