apply to spazio

we are a curated gallery for collectible design — unique pieces and small editions, sold on consignment directly from the studio. we came out of a munich gallery space (37 exhibitions, 2020–2024) and now build the gallery online, between munich and lisbon.

we review every submission ourselves and answer quickly, including a no. consignment, no fees, no exclusivity — your work stays yours until it sells.

what we look for

the work

furniture, lighting, objects and tableware — unique pieces, numbered editions or made to order, produced in your own studio or a workshop you trust. real materials, and a story that holds up close.

what to send

3–5 pieces you would propose, with the photos you already have. per piece: materials, dimensions, your retail price idea and the lead time. plus your shipping origin and a link.

what happens next

we reply within a few days. if it fits, you get our one-page consignment agreement, and we curate the final selection together. you approve every preview before it goes live.

three ways to apply — whichever is least work

send links links to existing listings (your site, adorno, oblist …) — we copy them over. use the upload form one entry per piece, photos included. share a folder google drive, set to anyone with the link, or shared with studio@thespaz.io.

portugal has one of the strongest emerging scenes in europe, and much of it is hard to buy outside lisbon or porto. write “portugal edit” anywhere in your message.

we started in munich. since the eu packaging rules changed, german studios feel the cross-border pain first — exactly what a gallery can carry better. mention “germany”.

why it is worth it

selling in the eu, handled

for every sale through spazio we are the seller of record. that means destination-country packaging compliance — the registrations, the authorised representatives, the reporting and the fees — is our job, at our cost. nothing is deducted from your share for it.

since 12 august 2026 that is the difference between shipping across the eu and not. one gallery carries it once, for all of its designers.
