a ceramic pendant lamp of the melo series: a stoneware form shaped by gravity on the wet clay, hung from its own braided fabric cable. textured natural finish outside, cream speckled glaze inside.

made by hand in catalin filip's studio in st leonards-on-sea, england. available in white cream or black vulcan clay.

it plugs into a socket and hangs at an adjustable height — low for reading, higher as ambient light, or close to a wall as a sconce. it can also be wired into a standard ceiling rose. fitted with an e14 led bulb and a plug for the buyer's country — use led bulbs only. works on 220–230 v and 110–130 v.

made to order: the studio makes each piece after the order, within 4–5 weeks. every piece is formed by hand, so shape and surface vary slightly from piece to piece.
