a wall lamp that looks like a simple paper half-sphere, until a curved stainless steel structure shows in its middle, partly hidden. the shade is handmade by müge du from japanese kozo paper over a natural rattan structure, held by stainless steel beads and linen thread; the stainless steel base is bent by hand by stephan sammer. the serpentine collection starts from the abstract snake carvings of göbeklitepe: the base rises like a serpent from the earth towards the light.
