marcello is mattina moderna's first furniture piece — a stool or side table, hand-crafted in portugal. sturdy, minimalist and enduring, it works wherever a seat or a surface is needed.
- lacquered — can be lacquered in any ral colour with three finish options — matt, 20 % gloss or 100 % gloss; the piece pictured is lacquered with 20 % gloss.
- black cork — expanded black cork on a wooden structure. the cork is expanded with water vapour and bound by its own resins — a 100 % natural, near waste-free process. beyond its dark, chocolate-like tone, cork insulates, absorbs sound and stores co2.
- wooden striped — finished in a two-toned stripe of mahogany wood veneer and tola wood leaf.
for custom colours and finishes, get in touch. each piece is handmade; small variations in shape and colour are part of it.
