ombrellina belongs to mattina moderna's renaissance collection — colours drawn from dark wooden furniture, faded florentine plasterwork and the tuscan countryside in late summer. a hand-painted earthenware base, crafted by artisans in portugal, carries a wide fabric shade.

• renaissance rose + ivory — a renaissance rose base under an ivory cotton shade cut from haider ackermann deadstock fabric.

• blackberry syrup & ginger bread — a blackberry syrup and ginger bread striped base with olive top, under an ivory cotton twill shade.
