round and wide at the foot, narrowing to a soft oval at the lip. a form caught mid-turn — still, under tension, as if drawing back and reorienting at once. the glaze is a deep gloss brown, dark enough to read as black until the light finds it.
each piece is built by hand and signed by the maker — one of one. glazed inside and fired at 1220 °C, watertight and suitable for fresh flowers. small variations in colour and surface are part of it.
